Like other tabletop RPGs, the world of Call of Cthulhu is enriched by community-created content.
When Keepers of Arcane Lore have run the adventures contained in their books and seek fresh inspiration, they head to the Miskatonic Repository on DriveThruRPG.
As a writer of homebrew scenarios, that’s where you go to share your stories with the world.

CoC community publishing is taking off, which is great news for our dread masters.
On the other hand, it means your story can get lost under the avalanche of community titles, not all of which are of the same standard of quality.
The vast catalogue on DriveThruRPG isn’t always easy to navigate, and it can be difficult for Keepers to tell your publication apart from the rest.
It can be challenging to take a passion project from first draft to a publishable booklet complete with handouts and attractive visuals.
You get your story out of your head and onto the page, but then you need to revise it and edit it, and of course find someone to proofread it. Then make handouts, put together a playtesting group or two, edit it again based on feedback. Plus you'll need to consider formatting, source illustrations, figure out the content guidelines and requirements…
